What You Will Do
As a Quality Engineer ll, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and compliance of materials and processes within our production environment. You will collaborate across teams to maintain and improve quality standards, resolve issues, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Key responsibilities include:
- Develop, modify, and maintain quality evaluation and control systems for materials and products.
- Ensure compliance of projects and process control documentation with regulatory and internal requirements.
- Lead root cause analysis and corrective action efforts for production issues or customer concerns.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in a multifunctional value stream to support production flow and process improvements.
- Utilize quality management system (QMS) tools and methods to support quality assurance activities.
- Monitor and report on quality metrics to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Support the implementation of quality initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications You Must Have
- Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience.
- Experience with quality management system (QMS) tools, quality engineering methods, and regulatory requirements.
- Experience in cross-functional collaboration and communication within a production or manufacturing environment.
- Prior work experience with root cause analysis and corrective action processes.
Qualifications We Prefer
- Experience with statistical methods and tools for quality analysis.
- Certifications such as Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or Certified Quality Auditor (CQA).
- Experience with SAP or other enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.

The salary range for this role is 68,900 USD - 131,100 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
