Responsibilities

  • Participate in introductory thermal hydraulic design training and seminars.
  • Acquire knowledge about reactor core thermal hydraulic design and key fuel features.
  • Perform thermal hydraulic design analyses using internal subchannel codes.
  • Follow approved methodologies for design processes and evaluations.
  • Collaborate with industry professionals on fuel rod design.
  • Report to the Fuel Rod & Thermal Hydraulic Design Manager.
  • Work in a paid full-time onsite position during the summer.

Job Requirements

  • Pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in nuclear engineering, mechanical engineering, or related discipline.
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0.
  • Completed sophomore year of college.
  • Skills in computer simulation and programming.
  • Experience with Linux.
  • Strong interest in the nuclear industry.
  • Commitment to safety and quality.
