Responsibilities
- Participate in introductory thermal hydraulic design training and seminars.
- Acquire knowledge about reactor core thermal hydraulic design and key fuel features.
- Perform thermal hydraulic design analyses using internal subchannel codes.
- Follow approved methodologies for design processes and evaluations.
- Collaborate with industry professionals on fuel rod design.
- Report to the Fuel Rod & Thermal Hydraulic Design Manager.
- Work in a paid full-time onsite position during the summer.
Job Requirements
- Pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in nuclear engineering, mechanical engineering, or related discipline.
- Minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Completed sophomore year of college.
- Skills in computer simulation and programming.
- Experience with Linux.
- Strong interest in the nuclear industry.
- Commitment to safety and quality.
