Responsibilities
- Own hardware from conceptual design through volume production and in-flight operations.
- Develop design criteria and collaborate on requirements for system-level optimization.
- Rapidly iterate on designs and analysis for product direction.
- Drive design for manufacturability (DFM) for efficient production.
- Generate detailed production and integration drawings using GD&T.
- Establish efficient product lifecycle processes from supply chain to final integration.
- Perform environmental and performance testing on hardware.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in an engineering or STEM discipline.
- Experience with CAD or FEA software packages.
- 1+ years of experience with mechanical and/or electromechanical design.
- Master’s degree in engineering is preferred.
- Solid understanding and application of GD&T.
- Demonstrated ability to own hardware or systems in an integrated engineering team.
- Self-motivated with strong organizational and communication skills.
