Responsibilities
- Own hardware from conceptual design through volume production and in-flight operations.
- Develop design criteria and collaborate on requirements for system-level optimization.
- Rapidly iterate on designs and analysis to inform high-level systems trades.
- Drive design for manufacturability (DFM) to create efficient designs.
- Generate production and integration drawings using GD&T and perform tolerance stack-up analysis.
- Establish an efficient product lifecycle balancing cost, complexity, and quality.
- Perform environmental and performance testing to validate designs.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in an engineering or STEM discipline.
- 1+ years of experience in mechanical/electromechanical design and analysis.
- Experience with CAD or FEA software packages.
- Solid understanding of GD&T.
- Demonstrated ability to own hardware or systems within an integrated team.
- Self-motivated with strong organizational, written, and oral communication skills.
- Ability and willingness to obtain a Top Secret clearance.
