Responsibilities
- Own hardware from conceptual design through production and in-flight operations.
- Develop design criteria and collaborate on requirements for system-level optimization.
- Rapidly iterate on designs and analysis to guide product direction.
- Drive design for manufacturability (DFM) to enhance design elegance and production efficiency.
- Generate detailed production and integration drawings and perform tolerance stack-up analysis.
- Establish an efficient product lifecycle balancing cost, complexity, and quality.
- Perform environmental and performance testing on hardware to validate compliance with design criteria.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in an engineering or STEM discipline.
- 1+ years of experience in mechanical and/or electromechanical design and analysis.
- Experience with CAD or FEA software packages.
- Solid understanding and application of GD&T.
- Demonstrated ability to own hardware or systems within an integrated engineering team.
- Self-motivated with strong organizational and communication skills.
- Proficient in 3D CAD (NX preferred).
