Responsibilities

  • Work in a fast-paced, cross-functional team environment.
  • Design, prototype, build, and test modules with mechanical, fluidic, electrical, and controls components.
  • Improve existing designs for reliability, manufacturability, and serviceability.
  • Maintain, troubleshoot, and upgrade instruments and test benches.
  • Develop and optimize laboratory processes, including automation workflows.
  • Collaborate with seasoned engineers to gain industry knowledge.
  • Participate in a program that prepares interns for future engineering careers.

Job Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Biomedical/Bioengineering, Physics, Optical Engineering, or related fields.
  • Cumulative GPA of 3.00 or higher.
  • Availability to work full-time (40 hours/week) for at least 8 weeks during summer 2026.
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and eager to learn in a team environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and work ethic.
  • Good presentation, writing, and communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills.
