Responsibilities
- Collaborates with Engineering on production tooling and design criteria.
- Determines manufacturing processes and authors process plans for shop floor methods.
- Develops learning curves and analyzes actual performance for process improvements.
- Creates Manufacturing Bill of Material (MBOM) for logical manufacturing sequencing.
- Provides technical guidance for Root Cause/Corrective Action (RCCA) on production issues.
- Analyzes engineering drawings and issues engineering change requests.
- Identifies and implements new technology to improve safety and reduce costs.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
- Preferred experience in machining discipline and machine shop standards.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in team environments.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and organizational skills.
- Proficient in computer applications (MS Office, CAD, etc.).
