Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Structures Design Engineering and CAE Engineering for Design for Manufacturability (DFM).
- Design, develop, and commission automated joining equipment.
- Plan and execute Design of Experiments (DoEs) for optimizing joining manufacturability and quality.
- Lead equipment installation, commissioning, and ramp of high-volume production lines.
- Achieve joining quality targets and develop quality control plans.
- Prepare final documentation for new production lines to ensure sustainability.
- Collect and analyze information to simplify complex ideas.
Job Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Welding Engineering, or Materials Engineering.
- Experience in developing and launching welding and mechanical joining processes.
- Knowledge of welding, mechanical joining processes, and metallurgy.
- Strong collaboration and decision-making skills.
- Proficiency in documentation of manufacturing processes.
- Mastery of Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and experience with AUTOCAD and CATIA 3DX.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work independently and in teams.
