Responsibilities
- Contribute to process improvement for Tesla Energy Batteries.
- Work with a multi-disciplinary engineering team on development and execution of DOEs.
- Support CAD modeling, fixturing, and troubleshooting of controls.
- Communicate effectively between Engineering and Production teams.
- Assist in the design and ramping of battery cell manufacturing equipment.
- Engage in hands-on work with cross-functional teams to test and validate equipment.
- Participate in the development of inline metrology systems for cell manufacturing.
Job Requirements
- Currently pursuing a degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Materials, Chemical, Electrical, Aerospace, or related field).
- Experience with CAD software (SolidWorks, Catia, AutoCAD, etc.).
- Knowledge of PLC programming and structure.
- Familiarity with MATLAB/Simulink for modeling systems.
- Understanding of lithium-ion battery technology and electrochemistry.
- Basic knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, power delivery, and energy storage.
- Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail.
