Responsibilities
- Support process improvement for Tesla Energy Batteries.
- Assist in development and execution of design of experiments (DOEs) and CAD modeling.
- Troubleshoot controls and perform issue analysis.
- Communicate effectively between engineering and production teams.
- Work on ramping manufacturing equipment and processes.
- Participate in testing and validating manufacturing equipment.
- Contribute to the design and installation of battery cell manufacturing equipment.
Job Requirements
- Currently pursuing a degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Materials, Chemical, Electrical, Aerospace, or related field).
- Experience with SolidWorks, CAD software, and other 3D modeling tools.
- Knowledge of lithium-ion battery technology and electrochemistry.
- Familiarity with PLC programming and MATLAB/Simulink.
- Understanding of electrical and mechanical systems.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Ability to work full-time on-site for a minimum of 12 weeks.
