Responsibilities
- Own and be the subject matter expert on fluid/HVAC components across campus.
- Perform CAD modeling and design of fluid systems.
- Conduct fluid analyses for pressure balance and component design.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary customers to meet production requirements.
- Ensure manufacturability and reliability of designs with the production team.
- Support material selection, sizing, and procurement.
- Work independently and manage extended hours as needed.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline.
- 1+ years of experience with fluid components (valves, pumps, etc.).
- Preferred: Master’s degree in engineering.
- Hands-on experience with fluid handling systems.
- Familiarity with data acquisition equipment and HVAC systems.
- Proficiency in NX or other CAD software with GD&T knowledge.
- Experience with structural analysis for aerospace applications.
