Responsibilities
- Own and be the subject matter expert on fluid/HVAC components across campus.
- Perform CAD modeling and design of fluid systems.
- Conduct fluid analyses for pressure balance and component design.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary customers to meet production requirements.
- Ensure designs are manufacturable and reliable.
- Support material selection, sizing, and procurement.
- Work with production teams for a smooth transition to manufacturing processes.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline.
- 1+ years of professional experience with fluid components.
- Hands-on experience with fluid handling systems.
- Familiarity with data acquisition equipment and test instrumentation.
- Experience with HVAC systems and CAD software.
- Knowledge of structural analysis methods for aerospace applications.
- Ability to work independently and manage extended hours if needed.
