Responsibilities
- Own a power electronics design impacting X-BAT system performance and flight tests.
- Contribute to the hardware lifecycle: concept development, modeling, and verification.
- Design low and high-voltage power systems, including DC-DC converters and inverters.
- Analyze systems for efficiency, thermal constraints, and reliability.
- Collaborate with ECAD engineers for PCB layout and manufacturability.
- Perform hands-on board bring-up and validation using lab equipment.
- Support qualification testing for aerospace-grade reliability.
Job Requirements
- B.S. in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- Strong fundamentals in circuits, electronics, and power systems.
- Hands-on experience with power electronics through coursework or internships.
- Familiarity with electrical design tools like Altium or KiCad.
- Experience using lab equipment such as oscilloscopes and power supplies.
- Participation in engineering teams or hands-on projects.
- Willingness to learn and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
