Responsibilities

  • Own a power electronics design impacting X-BAT system performance and flight tests.
  • Contribute to the hardware lifecycle: concept development, modeling, and verification.
  • Design low and high-voltage power systems, including DC-DC converters and inverters.
  • Analyze systems for efficiency, thermal constraints, and reliability.
  • Collaborate with ECAD engineers for PCB layout and manufacturability.
  • Perform hands-on board bring-up and validation using lab equipment.
  • Support qualification testing for aerospace-grade reliability.

Job Requirements

  • B.S. in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Strong fundamentals in circuits, electronics, and power systems.
  • Hands-on experience with power electronics through coursework or internships.
  • Familiarity with electrical design tools like Altium or KiCad.
  • Experience using lab equipment such as oscilloscopes and power supplies.
  • Participation in engineering teams or hands-on projects.
  • Willingness to learn and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
