Responsibilities

  • Perform electrical engineering studies including power factor analysis and harmonic modeling.
  • Conduct grounding analysis, short-circuit studies, and protective device coordination.
  • Provide engineering-related design and troubleshooting of protective relaying and controls.
  • Collaborate with the Field Services team on installation and maintenance projects.
  • Interact with customers to gather information and review engineering plans.
  • Engage in hands-on engineering activities with the engineering and field service group.
  • Ensure efficient operation of electrical systems and contribute to real-world projects.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering with a focus on Power Systems preferred.
  • Willingness to work hands-on in the field with technicians.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel; experience with power system modeling software is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
  • Knowledge of protective relay projects and power quality studies is a plus.
  • Utility design experience is advantageous.
  • Must be committed to safety and integrity in engineering practices.
