Responsibilities
- Perform electrical engineering studies, including power factor analysis and harmonic modeling.
- Conduct grounding analysis, short-circuit studies, and protective device coordination.
- Provide engineering-related design and analysis.
- Troubleshoot protective relaying and controls.
- Collaborate with the Field Services team on various projects.
- Interact with customers to gather information and review engineering plans.
- Engage in hands-on activities with engineering and field service teams.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, preferably with a focus on Power Systems.
- Willingness to work hands-on in the field alongside technicians.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Familiarity with power system modeling software (SKM, ETAP, ASPEN, EasyPower) is a plus.
- Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Knowledge of protective relay projects and power quality studies is a plus.
- Utility design experience is also a plus.
