Responsibilities
- Perform electrical engineering studies including power factor analysis and harmonic modeling.
- Conduct grounding analysis, short-circuit studies, and protective device coordination.
- Provide engineering-related design and troubleshooting of protective relaying and controls.
- Collaborate with the Field Services team on installation and maintenance projects.
- Interact with customers to gather information and review engineering plans.
- Engage in hands-on engineering activities with the engineering and field service group.
- Ensure efficient operation of electrical systems and contribute to real-world projects.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering with a focus on Power Systems preferred.
- Willingness to work hands-on in the field with technicians.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel; experience with power system modeling software is a plus.
- Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Knowledge of protective relay projects and power quality studies is a plus.
- Utility design experience is advantageous.
- Must be committed to safety and integrity in engineering practices.
