Responsibilities

  • Support the Neutron Propulsion team in creating FEA models of designs.
  • Analyze critical rocket engine hardware.
  • Collaborate with mentors and team members to apply engineering concepts.
  • Attend 1:1 meetings with mentors for progress updates.
  • Engage in tech talks and networking events with interns and employees.
  • Work on real engineering challenges in a fast-paced environment.
  • Contribute to the development projects without supervision.

Job Requirements

  • Must be enrolled in an engineering, physics, or math degree program.
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0.
  • At least 3 months of applied engineering experience.
  • Ability to thrive in ambiguity and work in small teams.
  • Proficiency in software such as Python, ANSYS, Siemens NX, Matlab, or Solidworks.
  • Finite Element Analysis (FEA) experience is preferred.
  • Full-time availability for a minimum of 12 consecutive weeks starting in early 2026.
