Responsibilities
- Support the Neutron Propulsion team in creating FEA models.
- Analyze critical rocket engine hardware.
- Collaborate with mentors and team members to apply engineering concepts.
- Participate in tech talks and networking events.
- Provide progress updates during 1:1 meetings with supervisors.
- Work on real challenges within a fast-paced group.
- Contribute to the design and testing of Neutron's components and engines.
Job Requirements
- Enrolled in an engineering, physics, or math degree program with at least one semester remaining post-internship.
- Minimum GPA of 3.0.
- 3+ months of applied engineering experience.
- Ability to thrive in ambiguity and work in small teams.
- Proficiency in software such as Python, ANSYS, Siemens NX, Matlab, or Solidworks.
- Experience with CAD/CAM and Finite Element Analysis (FEA).
- Willingness to work full-time on-site for a minimum of 12 consecutive weeks.
