Responsibilities

  • Support the Neutron Propulsion team in creating FEA models.
  • Analyze critical rocket engine hardware.
  • Collaborate with mentors and team members to apply engineering concepts.
  • Participate in tech talks and networking events.
  • Provide progress updates during 1:1 meetings with supervisors.
  • Work on real challenges within a fast-paced group.
  • Contribute to the design and testing of Neutron's components and engines.

Job Requirements

  • Enrolled in an engineering, physics, or math degree program with at least one semester remaining post-internship.
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0.
  • 3+ months of applied engineering experience.
  • Ability to thrive in ambiguity and work in small teams.
  • Proficiency in software such as Python, ANSYS, Siemens NX, Matlab, or Solidworks.
  • Experience with CAD/CAM and Finite Element Analysis (FEA).
  • Willingness to work full-time on-site for a minimum of 12 consecutive weeks.
