Responsibilities

  • Support the Neutron Propulsion team in creating FEA models.
  • Analyze critical rocket engine hardware.
  • Collaborate with team members to apply engineering concepts.
  • Attend 1:1 meetings with mentors for progress updates.
  • Participate in tech talks and networking events.
  • Contribute to the design and testing of rocket structures and components.
  • Work on-site for a minimum of 12 consecutive weeks.

Job Requirements

  • Enrolled in an engineering, physics, or math degree program.
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0.
  • At least 3 months of applied engineering experience.
  • Ability to thrive in ambiguity and work in small teams.
  • Familiarity with software such as Python, ANYS, Siemens NX, Matlab, or Solidworks.
  • Experience with CAD/CAM and Finite Element Analysis (FEA).
  • Must be able to work full-time on-site during the internship period.
