Responsibilities
- Support the Neutron Propulsion team in creating FEA models of designs.
- Analyze critical rocket engine hardware.
- Collaborate with mentors and team members to apply engineering concepts.
- Attend 1:1 meetings with mentors for progress updates.
- Engage in tech talks and networking events with interns and employees.
- Work on real engineering challenges in a fast-paced environment.
- Contribute to the development projects without supervision.
Job Requirements
- Must be enrolled in an engineering, physics, or math degree program.
- Minimum GPA of 3.0.
- At least 3 months of applied engineering experience.
- Ability to thrive in ambiguity and work in small teams.
- Proficiency in software such as Python, ANSYS, Siemens NX, Matlab, or Solidworks.
- Finite Element Analysis (FEA) experience is preferred.
- Full-time availability for a minimum of 12 consecutive weeks starting in early 2026.
