Responsibilities
- Support the Neutron Propulsion team in creating FEA models.
- Analyze critical rocket engine hardware.
- Collaborate with team members to apply engineering concepts.
- Attend 1:1 meetings with mentors for progress updates.
- Participate in tech talks and networking events.
- Contribute to the design and testing of rocket structures and components.
- Work on-site for a minimum of 12 consecutive weeks.
Job Requirements
- Enrolled in an engineering, physics, or math degree program.
- Minimum GPA of 3.0.
- At least 3 months of applied engineering experience.
- Ability to thrive in ambiguity and work in small teams.
- Familiarity with software such as Python, ANYS, Siemens NX, Matlab, or Solidworks.
- Experience with CAD/CAM and Finite Element Analysis (FEA).
- Must be able to work full-time on-site during the internship period.
