Responsibilities

  • Evaluate electrical systems, products, components, and applications by designing and testing products.
  • Manage requirements, system integration, test plan development, and test execution of weapon systems.
  • Understand and apply Platform-Store ICDs for non-conventional weapons.
  • Define, design, integrate, test, and certify weapon simulator hardware requirements.
  • Develop statements of work, specifications, and interface control documents.
  • Monitor and update program schedules and conduct design reviews.
  • Provide technical guidance to cross-functional teams.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a STEM discipline; Ph.D. acceptable with no experience.
  • 2 years (Weapons Integration Engineer) or 5 years (Principal Engineer) of related professional/military experience.
  • Active In-Scope DoD Secret clearance.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain Special Program Access (SAP/PAR).
  • Preferred experience with weapons STE equipment and governing standards.
  • Working knowledge of Platform-Store ICD, MIL-STD-1553, and MIL-STD-1760.
  • Experience working with weapons suppliers.
