Responsibilities
- Drive the design of physical networking infrastructure for datacenter projects.
- Manage issues, decisions, and risks related to project designs.
- Develop Statements of Work (SOWs) and design documents for telecommunications infrastructure.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to oversee datacenter telecommunication designs.
- Provide technical design direction to architecture and engineering firms.
- Lead multiple concurrent datacenter design projects with a focus on telecommunications.
- Conduct site visits to ensure quality during construction phases.
Job Requirements
- 5+ years of technical engineering experience or a relevant degree with 2+ years of experience.
- Experience with large-scale facility networking infrastructure projects.
- Preferred qualifications include 8+ years of experience or advanced degrees in relevant fields.
- Knowledge of industry standards and building codes related to telecommunications.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects.
- Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with design software like AutoCAD.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required.
