Responsibilities
- Design and develop production fixtures, QC equipment, and specialized tooling for assembly and testing.
- Collaborate with product design, quality, and manufacturing teams to address production issues.
- Partner with vendors and contract manufacturers in a fast-paced environment.
- Monitor production issues, analyze yield data, and perform root cause analysis.
- Prototype and iterate rapidly to develop robust manufacturing solutions.
- Conduct component-level testing for performance and reliability.
- Create and maintain CAD models and engineering documentation.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in mechanical design and tooling for high-volume manufacturing.
- Proven ability to execute complex mechanical designs from concept to production.
- Strong understanding of CNC machining, injection molding, and mechanical assembly processes.
- Experience with tolerance analysis and process optimization.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks.
- Familiarity with PDM/PLM systems and quality management processes.
