Responsibilities
- Create and develop mechanical manufacturing work instructions.
- Determine the sequence of build and select or design required tools.
- Solve production problems during the build of mechanical piece parts and assemblies.
- Investigate design/manufacturing factors such as equipment availability and manufacturability.
- Develop and maintain assembly documentation.
- Troubleshoot and correct anomalies in hardware.
- Perform producibility reviews on engineering designs/drawings.
Job Requirements
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office.
- Familiarity with Lockheed Martin Space Systems tools or equivalents.
- Experience with CAD/CAM software such as CreoParametric.
- Knowledge of production manufacturing and assembly processes.
- Experience in a test and requirements verification environment.
- Demonstrated technical writing and communication skills.
- Ability to maintain process discipline in a dynamic environment.
