Responsibilities
- Plan and perform engineering assignments for aircraft interior configurations and components.
- Review Airworthiness Directives and Technical Directives for compliance and applicability.
- Implement design changes to meet departmental objectives.
- Develop engineering procedures and standards to comply with FAA requirements.
- Provide technical assistance and troubleshooting support.
- Conduct root cause analysis for systems and components.
- Evaluate new methods and materials for cost benefits.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Proficient in data analysis tools such as Python, Excel, and SQL.
- Strong communication and analytical skills.
- Ability to interpret technical engineering documents.
- Must possess a valid Driver License and meet JetBlue's insurance standards.
- Ability to travel and work flexible hours, including holidays and weekends.
- Must pass a pre-employment drug test and be legally eligible to work in the US.
