Responsibilities
- Draft and maintain work instructions and checklists for solar panel assembly.
- Execute design of experiments (DOE) for various manufacturing processes.
- Set up and manage in-line inspection systems to ensure traceability.
- Perform inspections and support non-conformance processing.
- Enforce cleanliness and contamination controls in the manufacturing environment.
- Analyze yield and defect data to implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with tooling and automation teams on process improvements.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
- 5-7+ years of experience in aerospace electronics or solar panel manufacturing.
- Experience in authoring work instructions and managing traceability.
- Knowledge of in-line inspection and testing setups.
- Familiarity with cleanliness and contamination control standards.
- Understanding of NASA and IPC standards.
- Preferred experience with semi-automation and fixture development.
