Responsibilities

  • Draft and sustain work instructions, travelers, and checklists for solar panel assembly.
  • Execute design of experiments (DOE) trials for various manufacturing processes.
  • Set up and manage in-line inspection processes and ensure traceability.
  • Perform receiving inspections and support non-conformance processing.
  • Enforce cleanliness and contamination controls, maintaining tooling readiness.
  • Analyze yield and defect data to drive improvements and implement mistake-proofing.
  • Collaborate with tooling and automation teams on fixtures and process sensors.

Job Requirements

  • BS in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field.
  • 5-7+ years of experience in aerospace electronics/composites or solar panel manufacturing.
  • Experience authoring and sustaining work instructions and traceability systems.
  • Proficient in executing design of experiments for manufacturing processes.
  • Familiarity with in-line inspection setups and cleanroom controls.
  • Knowledge of NASA and IPC standards relevant to manufacturing.
  • Preferred certifications in IPC/J-STD/NASA standards and experience with semi-automation.
