Responsibilities
- Draft and sustain work instructions, travelers, and checklists for solar panel assembly.
- Execute design of experiments (DOE) trials for various manufacturing processes.
- Set up and manage in-line inspection processes and ensure traceability.
- Perform receiving inspections and support non-conformance processing.
- Enforce cleanliness and contamination controls, maintaining tooling readiness.
- Analyze yield and defect data to drive improvements and implement mistake-proofing.
- Collaborate with tooling and automation teams on fixtures and process sensors.
Job Requirements
- BS in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field.
- 5-7+ years of experience in aerospace electronics/composites or solar panel manufacturing.
- Experience authoring and sustaining work instructions and traceability systems.
- Proficient in executing design of experiments for manufacturing processes.
- Familiarity with in-line inspection setups and cleanroom controls.
- Knowledge of NASA and IPC standards relevant to manufacturing.
- Preferred certifications in IPC/J-STD/NASA standards and experience with semi-automation.
