Responsibilities

  • Draft and maintain work instructions and checklists for solar panel assembly.
  • Execute design of experiments (DOE) for various manufacturing processes.
  • Set up and manage in-line inspection systems to ensure traceability.
  • Perform inspections and support non-conformance processing.
  • Enforce cleanliness and contamination controls in the manufacturing environment.
  • Analyze yield and defect data to implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with tooling and automation teams on process improvements.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
  • 5-7+ years of experience in aerospace electronics or solar panel manufacturing.
  • Experience in authoring work instructions and managing traceability.
  • Knowledge of in-line inspection and testing setups.
  • Familiarity with cleanliness and contamination control standards.
  • Understanding of NASA and IPC standards.
  • Preferred experience with semi-automation and fixture development.
