Responsibilities
- Own the overall mechanical system architecture and ensure alignment with requirements and functional needs of the system.
- Present progress and results to senior management and the end customer.
- Execute modeling, simulation, and analytical efforts required to enable product performance.
- Integrate mechanical subsystems with electrical, optical, and other subsystems.
- Identify and engage key suppliers.
- Follow Infleqtion's Product Lifecycle Process and support phase gate reviews and critical design reviews.
- Support development of risk management plans and reliability analysis.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in design electronics and/or embedded systems engineering.
- 6+ years of relevant experience.
- Expert proficiency in Solidworks CAD design tools.
- Excellent technical and people leadership skills.
- Understanding of opto-mechanics and experience designing custom flexure mounts.
- Hands-on experience with EDU and flight hardware.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 10%.
