Responsibilities
- Create distribution design sketches and supporting documents.
- Review, approve, and stamp distribution designs and drawings.
- Mentor and train new distribution designers.
- Specify necessary materials and construction standards.
- Perform cost estimates for customers.
- Conduct field inspections for project locations.
- Maintain accurate documentation and provide professional communication with stakeholders.
Job Requirements
- Degree in Engineering from an ABET accredited university (Electrical or Mechanical Engineering preferred).
- Experience with electrical power calculations.
- Familiarity with NESC and NEC.
- Experience with Utility Work Management Systems and CAD (AutoCAD/MicroStation).
- Must have experience using ESRI ARC GIS.
- Consulting experience preferred.
- Ability to travel to client sites.
