Responsibilities
- Review Purchase Requests for correct work placement and Quality Clause application.
- Develop and maintain Supplier Quality procedures.
- Evaluate current and potential suppliers' quality and technical capabilities.
- Maintain Blue’s Approved Supplier List (ASL).
- Lead suppliers in resolving discrepancies and implementing corrective actions.
- Validate the effectiveness of corrective actions taken by suppliers.
- Communicate supplier performance to senior management.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
- 3+ years of relevant experience or AS9100 Internal/External Auditor certification.
- Experience in AS9100/AS9120 auditing.
- Ability to work onsite and travel up to 50% of the time.
- Quality assurance experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
- Relevant experience in transitioning products from development to operations.
- Six Sigma certification (Green or Black Belt) is a plus.
