Responsibilities
- Develop manufacturing work instructions for fabrication, assembly, testing, and integration.
- Manage quality, build sequence, and schedule throughout the manufacturing process.
- Review engineering drawings and approve them for manufacturing.
- Define and support repair and rework activities.
- Conduct root cause analyses for non-conformances and implement corrective actions.
- Design material handling and packaging to protect hardware.
- Maintain hardware configuration and pedigree during the build and test process.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, Electrical, Chemical, or Aerospace Engineering.
- 9+ years of manufacturing and manufacturing engineering experience.
- Proficiency in developing clear manufacturing processes and instructions.
- Strong understanding of engineering fundamentals for mechanical design and manufacturing.
- Experience with industry quality systems such as AS9100.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to support production floor activities and manage physical demands of the role.
