Responsibilities
- Develop and support manufacturing work instructions for fabrication, assembly, and testing.
- Manage quality, build sequences, and schedules throughout the manufacturing process.
- Perform engineering drawing reviews and approve manufacturing processes.
- Define and support repair and rework activities.
- Conduct root cause analyses for non-conformances and implement corrective actions.
- Design material handling and packaging solutions for hardware protection.
- Maintain hardware configuration and pedigree throughout the build and test process.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, Electrical, Chemical, or Aerospace Engineering.
- 9+ years of direct manufacturing and engineering experience.
- Understanding of engineering fundamentals for mechanical design and manufacturing.
- Proficiency in CAD and software tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Experience with industry quality systems such as AS9100.
- Ability to support production floor activities and work in small areas.
- Desired experience in aerospace or launch vehicle manufacturing.
