Responsibilities
- Provide critical peer review and approval of hardware designs during design & test reviews.
- Develop design criteria, requirements, and verification approaches for new systems.
- Interpret program requirements and guide engineers at the working level.
- Ensure compliance with AS9100 certification documents in design processes.
- Develop and improve design standards, processes, and systems at Astrolab.
- Develop specialized design and analysis tools.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline.
- 3+ years of experience in an engineering role.
- Attention to detail in communication, documentation, and design processes.
- A drive for constant, iterative improvement of company methods and processes.
- Experience interfacing with teams in design and manufacturing organizations.
- Familiarity with aerospace industry design standards and methods.
