Responsibilities
- Conceptualize, design, develop, and improve production processes through collaboration with manufacturing engineers and other functions.
- Serve as the primary technical interface to the development team for an OISL Sub-assembly.
- Participate as the lead technical voice from the factory in Design Reviews and new product development activities.
- Support the operations team by solving technical issues during production.
- Spend time on the shop floor implementing new processes and solving technical blockers.
- Perform independent development work to identify and implement production improvement actions.
- Collaborate in meetings on topics such as new design introductions and production process management.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace) or related technical field.
- 4+ years of experience in electrical engineering or equivalent experience.
- Knowledge of SolidWorks simulation or Ansys Finite Element analysis tools (preferred).
- Experience designing small form factor devices (preferred).
- Strong problem-solving skills in high-pressure situations.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary team.
- Experience with production processes and quality control measures.
