Responsibilities
- Serve as the key contact for warranty supplier chargebacks for vehicles produced at the Fremont Factory.
- Monitor factory containments related to field issues and collaborate on service campaign documentation.
- Lead investigations into field replacements and assess impacts once root causes are identified.
- Coordinate cost recovery for supplier-caused issues through service campaigns and recalls.
- Support procurement teams in cost recovery negotiations.
- Utilize strong presentation skills to communicate findings and engage audiences effectively.
- Manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while demonstrating reliability and initiative.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Manufacturing Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience in Supplier Quality, Supplier Development, or Manufacturing Engineering roles.
- Strong presentation and communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality methodologies, and experience in data analytics preferred.
- Proven ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Familiarity with quality systems management and tools (e.g., 8D, Fishbone, Control chart).
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
