Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the engineering team to design, build, and test satellite hardware and/or software.
- Design, evaluate, procure, assemble, and test structure, bracketry, and mechanisms for spacecraft.
- Perform mechanical and thermal analysis for spacecraft systems.
- Integrate parts and systems into the spacecraft.
- Document and develop procedures to improve the build process.
- Engage in hands-on design and development in a fast-paced environment.
- Contribute to meaningful work on complex projects.
Job Requirements
- Currently pursuing a B.S. in mechanical, aerospace, or equivalent technical degree.
- Passion for hardware development and hands-on design.
- Demonstrated ability to design, build, and test hardware from scratch.
- Experience with CAD (bonus).
- Experience with analytical software for stress or thermal analysis (bonus).
- Experience with electromechanical system design (bonus).
- U.S. Citizenship, Lawful Permanent Residency, or Refugee/Asylee Status required.
