Responsibilities
- Design, evaluate, procure, assemble, and test structure, bracketry, and mechanisms for spacecraft.
- Perform mechanical and thermal analysis for spacecraft systems.
- Integrate parts and systems into the spacecraft.
- Document and develop procedures to improve the build process.
- Collaborate with the engineering team on hardware/software projects.
- Contribute to meaningful work on complex engineering challenges.
- Engage in hands-on design and development tasks.
Job Requirements
- Currently pursuing a B.S. in mechanical, aerospace, or equivalent technical degree.
- Passion for hardware development and hands-on design experience.
- Ability to design, build, and test hardware from scratch.
- Experience with CAD (preferred but not required).
- Familiarity with analytical software for stress or thermal analysis (preferred).
- Understanding of electromechanical system design (preferred).
- U.S. citizenship or lawful permanent residency required.
