Responsibilities
- Conduct research into materials and component technologies for development opportunities.
- Design and test product features to meet program objectives.
- Perform failure analysis and validate solutions during product development.
- Create detailed part designs and product documentation.
- Analyze field failures and evaluate solutions for production issues.
- Facilitate positive team interactions to achieve program goals.
- Provide support for cross-functional program integration to ensure team success.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
- 3+ years of experience in consumer/handheld product development.
- 3+ years of experience in product validation (Shock/Drop, Cycle Testing, Environmental Testing).
- Master’s degree (preferred).
- Proficiency in 3D CAD skills, preferably Creo.
- Experience with statistical process control and tolerance analysis.
- Knowledge of tooling and materials process validation.
