Responsibilities

  • Identify automation opportunities by auditing existing workflows.
  • Build business cases to quantify ROI and improvements for automation projects.
  • Execute technical projects for small-scale automation tools or systems.
  • Validate new tools through testing and verification against manufacturing standards.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing and quality teams for integration of new tools.
  • Document technical workflows and present proposals to engineering leadership.
  • Engage in a full-time internship program for 10-12 weeks.

Job Requirements

  • Currently enrolled as a Junior or Senior in a relevant engineering program or recent graduate.
  • Experience in designing or implementing process automation.
  • Ability to use data to identify process inefficiencies.
  • Familiarity with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks) is preferred.
  • Understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles is a plus.
  • Experience with automated visual inspection systems or robotics is advantageous.
  • Strong documentation and presentation skills.
