Responsibilities
- Identify automation opportunities by auditing existing workflows.
- Build business cases to quantify ROI and improvements for automation projects.
- Execute technical projects for small-scale automation tools or systems.
- Validate new tools through testing and verification against manufacturing standards.
- Collaborate with manufacturing and quality teams for integration of new tools.
- Document technical workflows and present proposals to engineering leadership.
- Engage in a full-time internship program for 10-12 weeks.
Job Requirements
- Currently enrolled as a Junior or Senior in a relevant engineering program or recent graduate.
- Experience in designing or implementing process automation.
- Ability to use data to identify process inefficiencies.
- Familiarity with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks) is preferred.
- Understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles is a plus.
- Experience with automated visual inspection systems or robotics is advantageous.
- Strong documentation and presentation skills.
