Come join a dynamic team of Advanced Systems Engineers architecting today’s leading-edge technologies in radar.  All of our engineering design and test is accomplished at our Farmingdale facility to provide an immersive experience from start to finish, with close coordination with all engineering disciplines.

• Duties and Responsibilities:

The Staff Radar Systems Engineer performs complex analysis, modeling and simulation tasks as part of a team developing advanced radar solutions.

• Support requirements flow-down, HW/SW Trade Studies, System Level Design Reviews, Integration Planning & Execution and Flight-Testing activities.
• Support development of radar signal processing algorithms using MATLAB for radar mode designs applicable to maritime, overland and air-to-air modes
• Contribute to high fidelity Radar performance simulations using MATLAB, considering real-world Radar characteristics including RF Chain parameters and quantized/fixed point signal processing. 
• Work with various engineering disciplines to provide simulated test vectors and analyze test results.
• Analysis of Flight Test Data with ability to debug system performance issues in stressing customer environments including performance assessments
• Coordinates with other technical resources to formulate and carry out studies in system design to advance the capabilities and cost effectiveness of core radar products

• Education and Experience:

• Typically expects 10+ years of related experience with a Bachelor’s; 6+ years of experience with a master’s degree; or a PhD with 3+ years of experience
• Desirable Relevant Experience includes:
  • Experience with Active Electronically Scanned Array technology and design
  • Knowledge of Waveform Design and Signal Processing methods to meet customer detection and geolocation requirements. 
  • Proposal development, Basis Of Estimate (BOE) development, Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS)
  • Cybersecurity and/or Safety Certification experience a plus
  • MBSE experience with Cameo or equivalent is a plus
• Thrives in a collaborative environment working with other high performing engineers to solve very challenging Radar problems

• Occasional travel requiring overnight stays may be required, airline travel must be acceptable
• Must have a background that would permit the U.S. Department of Defense to issue a Secret clearance when necessary for work on a project that requires such a clearance.

Compensation and Benefits:

Benefits are available on the 1st of the month following date of hire. For some positions, only PTO and holiday benefits are offered.

Compensation ranges for roles at TTM Technologies varies depending on a wide array of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; certifications; and other business and organizational needs.  The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled.  At TTM Technologies, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on each individual set of circumstances.  A reasonable estimate of the current range is:

$131,809 - $231,802

Additional compensation: An annual or quarterly company bonus may apply based on position assignment. Positions hired for alternative shift may be eligible for a shift premium based on the assigned shift and location.
