The ideal candidate has a background in probe and final test development for complex mixed-signal circuits, project management, and product lifecycle management—including the optimization of manufacturing processes, quality, flow, and cost.
Responsibilities include:
- Development work in support of a broad range of analog multiplexers, protection diodes, transceivers, and isolation advanced Integrated Circuits that address Automotive and Industrial markets.
- Collaborate and work in a team environment with Design, Applications, Test, Marketing, Manufacturing, Quality and Reliability in all aspects of post-release activities to accomplish goals and objectives.
- Develop ATE (Automatic Test Equipment) test hardware and software, including qualification hardware development.
- Perform qualification & characterization of integrated circuits to ensure they meet the product requirement specifications and manufacturing requirements.
- Work with failure analysis (FA) to determine root cause of any reliability and qualification failures.
- Work with process and package technology development to develop and qualify technologies for new manufacturing facilities.
- Work closely with the global manufacturing facilities to address customer specific product quality, yield management and cost reductions issues on mature products.
- Analyze customer returns, engaged on process improvement activities like test coverage improvements to improve product overall quality.
- Perform statistical analysis of yield fallout, debug and fix yield issues; optimize test time.
Minimum requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
- 5 years of relevant experience.
- ATE experience on Teradyne Eagle (ETS88, ETS364, ETS800) or equivalent analog ATE (V93K, J750HD, UFLEX), although Eagle experience is preferred and is a differentiator.
- Production ATE test program and hardware development experience.
- Strong technical knowledge of electronic devices and circuits, and Analog test techniques.
- Data analysis skills using Spotfire or equivalent tool based on STDF.
- Experienced with various lab equipment such as scopes, power supplies, source measurement unit, loads etc.
- Experience with product engineering activities such as product transfer between manufacturing facilities, product yield improvement and test time reduction.
- Strong understanding of the IC product development process, from concept to volume production.
Preferred qualifications:
- Mixed signal test techniques and experience with developing mixed-signal tests on ETS88, ETS364, ETS800 tester platforms.
- Proficiency in programming/scripting in C++, Python, C#.
- Solid understanding of JEDEC and AEC qualification test requirements.
- Ability to drive qualification needs discussion with quality organization and optimize qualification requirements for product qualifications.
