Sr Product Quality Engineering Technician - 1st Shift - Starting at $35.12/hr

As a Senior Product Quality Engineering Technician, you will perform complaint investigations and root cause analyses on products returned from the field while documenting findings, probable failure modes, and recommendations for improvement.

What you will do:

  • Investigate product complaints and failure trends, identify root causes, and document findings.

  • Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical product issues and support problem-solving activities.

  • Review returned products, verify customer complaints, and communicate findings to Quality Engineers and cross-functional partners.

  • Support risk assessments, quality investigations, and regulatory requirements.

  • Identify opportunities for product, process, and quality improvements.

  • Build strong working relationships across Quality, Regulatory, Engineering, and Operations teams.

  • Support testing and validation activities related to product and process changes.

  • Ensure compliance with Quality System requirements and provide support on team initiatives as needed.

What you need:

Required

  • High school Diploma or GED equivalent.

  • At least 5 years of professional technical experiences, preferably in medical device or regulated industries.

  • Strong mechanical and/or electrical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to investigate, document, and communicate findings effectively

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)

  • Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and adapt to changing needs

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally

Preferred

  • Experience performing failure analysis, root cause investigations, or product testing

  • Familiarity with electrical terminology, hand tools, test equipment, and inspection techniques

  • Experience working with medical devices or in a laboratory testing environment

  • Hands-on experience with PCBAs, wire harnesses, AC/DC power systems, embedded software, or other electronic systems

$35.12 - $49.37 USD Hourly

plus bonus eligible + benefits.
