Technical Integration Consultant - IntelliSpace Perinatal

Job Description

The Technical Integration Consultant for Philips IntelliSpace Perinatal will lead complex healthcare IT implementations, deliver electronic medical record (EMR) and HL7 integrations, and serve as a trusted technical advisor to customers connecting critical perinatal data across hospital environments.

Your role:

  • Lead end-to-end implementations of Philips IntelliSpace Perinatal solutions, overseeing system configuration, validation, testing, troubleshooting, and go-live support across diverse healthcare environments.  Ensure deployments meet customer requirements and support successful adoption in clinical settings.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to healthcare organizations on EMR integration strategy, interoperability workflows, and system architecture, with expertise in Epic, Cerner, Meditech, HL7, and related interface technologies.  Recommend scalable integration designs that support operational and clinical objectives.
  • Design, configure, test, validate, and optimize HL7 interfaces to enable reliable data exchange between IntelliSpace Perinatal and customer EMR systems.  Analyze integration outcomes to ensure system performance, data integrity, and workflow effectiveness.
  • Resolve complex technical and integration issues involving connectivity, data flow, system configuration, and performance, driving problems through sustainable resolution.  Conduct thorough root-cause analysis and implement corrective actions to maintain system reliability.
  • Collaborate with project managers, clinical stakeholders, customer IT teams, EMR vendors, sales, and service organizations to deliver successful implementations.  Maintain comprehensive documentation of implementation activities, integration decisions, troubleshooting efforts, and best practices to support knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.

You're the right fit if:

  • You’ve acquired 3+ years of experience in healthcare IT, software implementation, systems integration, technical consulting, or a related technical environment.  Experience supporting hospital or clinical IT environments is required; experience with women’s health, perinatal, patient monitoring, or enterprise healthcare solutions is highly preferred.
  • Your skills include expertise in HL7 integration, EMR connectivity, system interoperability, interface testing, technical troubleshooting, and healthcare infrastructure.  You have the proven ability to lead and support complex customer implementations (from requirements analysis and system configuration through validation, issue resolution, and customer-facing consultation).
    • Experience with Epic, Cerner, and Meditech integrations is highly preferred.  Experience with interface engines such as Cloverleaf, Rhapsody, Mirth Connect, or Corepoint is preferred.  Epic Bridges certification, HL7/FHIR certifications, and technical certifications such as AWS, CCNA, Microsoft, or VMware are highly desirable.
  • You have a bachelor’s degree in software engineering, computer science, healthcare informatics, information technology, biomedical engineering, or other related field of study or equivalent combination of education and above listed experience.
  • You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this position.  You must be able to:
    • Travel for business.  Approximately up to 25% national travel may be required.
    • Work in an office/home office and/or remote setting, as well as in a hospital/healthcare environment; adhere to requirements and comply with vendor credentialing; wear all required personal protective equipment.
  • You’re a customer-focused technical professional who can translate complex integration concepts into clear customer solutions, communicate effectively across technical and clinical stakeholders, manage competing priorities, and deliver high-quality implementation outcomes in fast-paced healthcare environments.

How we work together

We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.

This is a field role.
