Northrop Grumman Mission Systems (NGMS) is seeking a Production Painter 3 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals in Salt Lake City, Utah. 

What You'll Get to Do:

• Perform all painting operations and related finishing- Prepare surface for paint, coats surface of parts, assemblies, and finished products with protective or decorative materials, spot repairs and rework where necessary.
• Operate machines or equipment using coating or painting processes-Selects and mixes coating material; coats areas inaccessible to hand sprayer using brush or roller.
• Regularly clean machines, related equipment, and work areas.
• May monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures.
• Follow established safety rules and regulations and maintain a safe and clean environment.

Ideal Candidate:

• Good time-management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize workload.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Basic Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent and 4 years additional education and/or related experience.
• Thorough working knowledge of all painting materials and techniques; finishing, sealing, and color specification.
• Ability to frequently move and position objects weighing 40 lbs.
• Ability to work first shift (6AM - 3:30PM).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with SAP.
• Additional computer training required, knowledge of various software applications including MS Word, Excel, Internet, E-mail, MS Office XP.
• Detail oriented, organized with the ability to work independently.

Primary Level Salary Range: $57,500.00 - $95,900.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
