The Worldwide Field and Partner Center of Excellence helps Microsoft scale partner capacity and accelerate adoption of Microsoft solutions by connecting technical expertise, reusable assets, readiness programs, and disciplined execution across Modern Work, Business Applications, and Security.

We are looking for an execution-focused

Program Manager

to serve as the operational backbone for Security and Partner Enablement initiatives. You will operate at the intersection of aligning with architects, platform providers, marketing program managers, and operational teams, translating strategy into clear plans, establishing scalable operating rhythms, removing blockers, and driving accountability across stakeholders. Responsibilities

  • Drive end-to-end execution across Security and Partner Enablement workstreams. Develop and maintain project plans, milestones, dependencies, risks, success criteria, and stakeholder communications, and help teams move from strategy to measurable outcomes.
  • Own the team’s Agile operating rhythm, including backlog management, sprint planning, Scrum ceremonies, action tracking, status reporting, and continuous improvement. Create structure that improves transparency, prioritization, follow-through, and delivery predictability.
  • Serve as the operational connection point across technical architects, partner program leaders, engineering and business stakeholders, external vendors, and platform providers. Build alignment, identify blockers, drive decisions, and hold owners accountable to commitments with minimal supervision.
  • Manage relationships and operating processes with demo platform providers and internal service owners. Coordinate provisioning, readiness, maintenance, platform health, licensing, trial availability, and lifecycle activities that support partner workshops, demonstrations, technical readiness, and solution showcases.
  • Coordinate infrastructure and related operational activities. Identify gaps and implement scalable processes, automation opportunities, and practices that keep the team running effectively.
  • Provide program and content support when additional capacity is needed. Partner with architects and subject matter experts to develop presentations, readiness materials, workshop content, program documentation, and executive-ready updates while maintaining technical accuracy and consistent messaging.
  • Collect and evaluate program signals, communicate status and risks, and use operational insights to improve program performance. Contribute to business reviews and help influence change across the organization.
  • Develop a network of internal/external relationships to build influence in addressing problems/ blockers and facilitating additional views on the matter of interest. Stays up to date on Microsoft’s technologies, products, and services in order to communicate Microsoft's mission, strategy, and capabilities.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 2+ years experience in consulting, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development
    • OR equivalent experience

Other Requirements

  • Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and / or government security screening requirements are required for this role.  These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire / transfer and every two years thereafter.

Additional Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 5+ years experience consulting, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • 4+ years of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.
  • Experience in the Microsoft partner ecosystem, a consulting organization, systems integrator, managed service provider, or technical delivery environment.
  • Working knowledge of the Microsoft Security ecosystem, including technologies such as Microsoft Defender, Microsoft Sentinel, Microsoft Entra, Microsoft Purview, and Microsoft Intune.
  • Experience with Microsoft 365, Teams, Planner, Azure DevOps, Power Platform, or Copilot to manage work, automate processes, and communicate program health.
  • Experience supporting technical demo environments, trials, labs, readiness programs, partner enablement, or cloud solution delivery.
  • Program and project management discipline with a execution mindset and attention to detail.
  • Ability to operate independently through ambiguity and turn loosely defined needs into structured, actionable plans.

Technical Program Management IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $102,100 - $202,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $133,800 - $219,200 per year.
