Successful candidates will have experience in a manufacturing environment and be able to get hands on, building and testing physical hardware (we’ll help you come up to speed on the quantum side of things).

Responsibilities
Configure and optimize production lines for manufacturing of Maybell’s dilution refrigerators
Lead a team of engineers and technicians in performing hands on assembly and fabrication of complex equipment
Develop and improve manufacturing processes
Implement manufacturing quality and organizational systems
Lead continuous improvement efforts
Develop work instructions and production documentation
Design manufacturing jigs and equipment to improve production quality and throughput
Collaborate with engineering to improve system design and DFM
Build and manage aggressive production schedules
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree (or higher) in mechanical engineering or equivalent field
8+ years of work experience in a manufacturing or production environment
3+ years of work experience leading a manufacturing line
3+ years of management experience
Self-starter who can thrive in ambiguity with ability to drive results independently and through team members
Exceptional organizational and project management skills
Exceptional hands-on assembly and fabrication skills
Exceptional leadership and communication skills
Strong CAD & mechanical design skills
Team player with strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong safety-oriented mindset
Desired Qualifications
Experience in any of the following areas: vacuum systems, leak checking, thermal systems, brazing, welding, valves, pumps, pneumatics
Experience in managing quality systems
Machine shop and fabrication skills
Base salary: $115,000/yr - $145,000/yr
