Job Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the plant’s quality strategy to achieve world-class performance in safety, quality, delivery, cost, morale, and environmental objectives while supporting operational and customer goals.

  • Drive customer satisfaction and quality excellence by serving as the primary customer quality representative, managing escalations, resolving quality concerns, and ensuring successful launch and production performance.

  • Build and lead high-performing teams through coaching, mentoring, succession planning, and cross-functional collaboration to foster accountability, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.

  • Oversee quality systems and compliance to ensure adherence to IATF 16949, ISO standards, customer requirements, and Magna operating principles, including audit readiness and risk management.

  • Support new program launches and production readiness by leading APQP activities, quality planning, process validation, and implementation of preventive quality measures for vehicle assembly and integration programs.

  • Utilize data-driven decision making to identify trends, reduce variation, optimize processes, eliminate waste, and improve overall manufacturing performance and first-time quality results.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Manufacturing, or related field.
  • 7+ years of automotive quality leadership experience.
  • 5+ years leading cross-functional manufacturing organizations.
  • Proven experience supporting vehicle assembly, complex manufacturing environments, and major program launches.
  • Strong knowledge of APQP, PFMEA, Control Plans, IATF 16949, ISO 9001, and Lean Manufacturing principles.
  • Experience with EV systems, vehicle validation, SAP, and data analytics preferred.
