Your Responsibilities

As a Design Engineer, Operator Station for Ag Engineering - Modules located in Waterloo, IA, you will:

  • Own design engineering tasks for seat tops, seat suspensions, and instructional seats used in Ag applications

  • Use Creo Parametric and Parts Data Management systems to produce 3D models, motion envelopes, and drawings. Promote parts through workflow

  • Communicate and engage with local and global Operator Station engineers and supporting cross-functional teams

  • Prepare and lead formal design reviews

What Skills You Need

  • Experience (educational or practical) with CAD software

  • Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerance training or experience 

What Makes You Stand Out

  • Design or test experience

  • Experience in roles (educational/practical/internship) that required a demonstrated ability to openly communicate and collaborate with a global cross functional team

  • Experience using Creo Parametric

  • Experience interacting with suppliers to deliver components to production

  • Experience with suspensions or ergonomics

  • Experience working with the Enterprise Parts Data Management EPDM workflow/process 

Education

Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Technology discipline or equivalent experience
