
Facilities Supervisor
Job Description
As a Facilities Supervisor at Impulse, you will oversee daily facility operations and workplace projects across our offices, manufacturing, and support spaces. You will act as the primary point of contact for facility operations, ensuring buildings, grounds, workplace services, and core building systems are safe, functional, and operating effectively.
You will manage facility requests, supervise assigned facilities staff, coordinate vendors and contractors, and lead facility improvements that enable efficient and reliable operations. This role partners closely with the Maintenance team, Engineering, Production, Security, and EHS to ensure a safe, functional, and scalable work environment.
Responsibilities
- Ensure facilities, grounds, and workplace services remain safe, functional, and well maintained
- Supervise assigned facilities staff and prioritize daily work activities
- Manage and prioritize facility work requests and ticket workflows
- Coordinate vendors, contractors, and facility service providers
- Support facility expansions, renovations, and infrastructure upgrades
- Coordinate office reconfigurations and workplace logistics
- Partner with the Maintenance team to coordinate repairs and preventive maintenance activities
- Collaborate with Engineering, Production, Security, and EHS to support operational needs and facility readiness
- Own workplace services, including janitorial services, waste removal, and life safety systems.
- Maintain facility documentation and project tracking
- Support emergency facility response and after-hours needs as required
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalency certificate
- 5+ years of facilities operations, facilities management, or related experience
- Previous experience leading or supervising personnel
- Working knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and building systems
- Experience managing vendors, contractors, and facility projects
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Experience with CMMS, JIRA, or similar work management systems
