Business Justification
Position Summary
The Supply Chain Manager coordinates material readiness, supply planning, and capacity execution for cloud service provider accounts. This role ensures flawless execution of complex compute, storage, networking, and AI rack-level integration, collaborating directly with Sourcing and NPI teams to maintain production schedules. In this role you will be both cross-functional and customer facing while managing a team of best-in-class Supply Chain Managers & Material Planning Managers, ensuring mfg Supply – Capacity – Utilization. A successful candidate will be goal oriented and highly focused on the development of system & processes, AI utilization, dashboard development, and achieving strategic KPI’s.
Key Responsibilities (including, but not limited to)
- Material Readiness & CTB Execution: Manage day-to-day Clear-to-Build (CTB) tracking for complex CT2R (Configure-to-Rack) operations. Identify component shortages early and drive immediate resolution.
- Sourcing Alignment: Collaborate with the Strategic Sourcing team to track component allocations. Monitor supplier commitments against short-term and mid-term customer demand forecasts.
- NPI to MP Handoff Execution: Work alongside the New Product Introduction (NPI) team to track engineering changes. Ensure material readiness for smooth operational handoffs into high-volume Mass Production (MP).
- Inventory & Capacity Optimization: Monitor build plans and factory capacity across global manufacturing sites. Manage buffer stock levels to meet customer demand while minimizing excess and obsolete (E&O) inventory.
- Daily Escalation Management: Serve as the primary operational point of contact for component constraints. Solve daily tactical supply chain disruptions to keep rack integration lines running.
- Data Tracking & Reporting: Maintain supply chain metrics, material tracking dashboards, and inventory velocity reports for leadership reviews.
Core Requirements
- Experience: 5+ years of supply chain planning, material management, or program management experience within data center hardware or electronics manufacturing.
- Technical Knowledge: Understanding of server hardware infrastructure components (GPUs, CPUs, memory, networking switches).
- Execution Skills: Strong analytical capabilities with Excel/ERP systems and the ability to drive results in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
Compensation: The anticipated base salary range for this position is $130K-150k annually.
Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, qualifications, and business needs.
