We are looking for a

Manager

team that will
be responsible
for
delivering upon our commitments to our customer
s
and partners. In this role you will be responsible
to
ensure
alignment with GPQSS global standards, processes, tools and governance,
drive
innovation, and foster collaboration among diverse engineering teams.
Together
with the
Engineering
team
of the Global Product Group
, you
are responsible
for
driving
consistency in executional excellence when it comes to
health & safety,
quality,
on-time
delivery
and
budget
,
in line with
Hitachi Energy
and
G
rid
I
ntegration business unit strategic direction and priorities
.
In this role, you will report to the
Global
Operations Manager
for
GPQSS
.
How
You’ll
Make an Impact:
You will
be responsible for
the projectengineering scope
and own the performance managementof
theGPQSS
engineering deliverables
in close partnership and collaboration with our Hitachi Energy local counterparts and customers.
You will be
the Business Process Owner responsible for
GPG
GPQSS
global engineering processes.
You will
m
entor and develop engineering leaders and team members, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
You will build and
maintain
relationships with key customers as well as internal and external stakeholders.
You will support and drive the BU’s strategy globally within the
GPQSS
community.
You will coordinate the development and initiate implementation of the standards, practices, procedures,
tools
and digitalization initiativesin collaboration with
our GlobalEngineering
teams
and other functions withinGPQSS
. You will
initiate
and support theimplementation,
of said initiatives, in theGPQSS
team, to achieveengineering
efficiency
, cater
organizational
scale-up andcompetency development
along our growth journey.
You will define and lead the implementation of continuous
improvements
initiatives across engineering processes and tools
, in alignment with Business Unit and Global Product Group strategies
.
You will m
onitor KPIs and performance metrics to ensure operational excellence and strategic alignment.
You will
participate
in the budgeting process, jointly with
the
Global Operations
Manager and Controller.
You will
conduct
the
Salesand Operations Planning with other members of theGlobal Product Group team
andtakeactions
to close potential gaps inengineering
capacity.
You will
ensure
that the area of responsibility is structured to fit the business model, sufficiently staffed with skilledresources
and directed appropriately.You g
uide,
motivate
and develop direct and indirect reports within HR policies. Oversee competency assessments and ensure that theengineering
staff is licensed and certified appropriately.

Your background:
You hold a
Bachelor’s or
Master’s degree in Electrical
, Mechanical, or Energy Engineering (or related field).

+ years of engineering experience in the energy sector, with 5+ years in a global leadership role.
You are driven, result
oriented
and have a strong interest in leadership and developing your team, as well as developing relations and collaborating
with other stakeholders.
You are a strong communicator with ability to communicate beyond you
r
own organizational responsibilitiesand think strategically
You have e
xperience in a multinational corporation
and
global engineering environment.
To successfully take on this position, you have
strong knowledge of energy systems, grid infrastructure, renewable technologies, and regulatory frameworks
in the utility and/or industrial infrastructure project business,
with a strong understanding of engineering principles and a proven
track record
of delivering complex engineering projects across multiple geographies.

industry standards such as IEC, IEEE, ISO,
ANSI,environmental compliance, etc.
