The opportunity

This exciting opportunity offers hands-on experience, structured learning, and meaningful project work that supports our transformer components manufacturing operations. During the training period, you will be based in Crystal Springs, Mississippi, where you will gain exposure to engineering design processes, manufacturing operations, and the technologies that power a more sustainable energy future.

How you'll make an impact
- Learn the fundamentals of Hitachi Energy’s Transformers and Components business, product portfolio, manufacturing processes, and operations.

Your background
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Electromechanical, or Mechanical Engineering.
- Two (2) or more years of relevant industry experience; internship and co-op experience will be considered.
- Authorization to work in the United States that permits employment with Hitachi Energy.
- Interest in the energy, manufacturing, or industrial technology sectors.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong communication, analytical, problem-solving, and collaboration skills; experience with AutoCAD 2D/3D modeling is a plus.
