As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you’ll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You’ll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

US: $192000 - $279000 (USD) + 20% bonus target + equity + benefits

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in program management.
  • Experience with data center controls.
  • Experience in technical and product program management.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 8 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
  • Execute scope for cross-functional product development of new products and programs to address undefined challenges with limited guidance.


  • Lead products through the product life-cycle process (e.g., concept, development, launch) driving scope, schedule, cost, and resource management, using existing processes.


  • Work with upstream and downstream partner teams across data centers, supply chain, construction and execution teams, hardware, and software operations to establish a streamlined supply chain and reliable deployments that meet cost.


  • Manage the controls roadmap from initial concept and hardware selection through to end-of-life/obsolescence planning.


  • Evaluate and hold vendors accountable for firmware quality, hardware reliability, and compliance with technical specifications.
