Job Description
Product and Business Strategy Leaders bring together teams across Google’s functions to help products execute optimally. Our team pushes Google to scale at key points that refine our products and infrastructure by executing efficiently, bringing solid business sense and sound judgment, and working effectively across organizational lines.
Our roles often include components of strategy (e.g. analyzing and understanding new trends in the industry, building business plans), operations (e.g. running the cadence of organizations, connecting the operating lines between our functions), and communications. Our team partners with senior leadership to run important functions that cross-cut our existing organizations and deliver high impact projects. We help Engineers, PMs, UX, and all of our other functions to build amazing products that delight our users, and then get those products into their hands.
The Pixel Global Launch team is looking for entrepreneurially minded individuals with strong skills in product strategy understanding and an operational excellence mindset to optimize and scale up Google’s Phone business in the North American territory.
In this role, you'll lead a high-impact team focused on driving strategic initiatives, enhancing communication, and optimizing operations across cross-functional North American Launch and Product functions.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
US: $176000 - $257000 (USD) + 20% bonus target + equity + benefits

Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 11 years of experience in management consulting, product management and strategy, or analytics in a technology company.
- 2 years of experience managing or leading teams.
- Experience working with and analyzing data, and managing multiple cross-functional programs or projects.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in the smartphone industry and knowledge of mobile launch.
- Understanding of hardware/software and deep expertise with Android OS.
- Ability to connect product value propositions with partner needs, bridging strategy to execution with a results-driven mindset.
- Exceptional influencing skills to build strong relationships, inspire trust, and drive consensus across cross-functional teams.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, active listening, credible maturity, and strong organizational leadership skills.
- Rigorous project management, analytical problem-solving, and flexibility to creatively handle multiple competing priorities in environments.
- Manage a team and Pixel Portfolio product and launch duties, developing subject matter expertise to guide sales and craft executive presentations.
- Ensure clear communication of priorities, distilling complex insights for senior leadership and building strong stakeholder relationships to drive organizational alignment.
- Manage efficient business processes and lead the planning and narrative of the North American Strategic Gate reviews for senior leadership.
- Own the end-to-end launch planning program, driving launch readiness by collaborating cross-functionally to improve processes and resolve issues.
- Forge strong partnerships with regional category managers, marketing, and engineering teams to ensure alignment between organizational plans and overarching goals.
