Group Product Manager, AI Infra Hardware

Our team works closely with creative engineers, designers, marketers, etc. to help design and develop technologies that improve access to the world's information. We're responsible for guiding products throughout the execution cycle, focusing specifically on analyzing, positioning, packaging, promoting, and tailoring our solutions to our users.

As a part of this team, your mission is to redefine at scale computing by bringing Google TPU's directly to customer premises. As part of a special projects group, you will build novel, vertically integrated systems for organizations with strict security, sovereignty, and data locality requirements. You will shape the next-generation of AI hardware and the foundational software that powers it, taking custom silicon, high-density racks, and cluster networking from concept to deployment in the world's most demanding environments.

We are looking for Product Managers with a proven track record of bringing complex hardware and infrastructure products to market. In this role, you will lead product definition across the entire physical and systems stack, from custom accelerators, server platforms, and firmware up to operating systems.The AI and Infrastructure team is redefining what’s possible. US: $240000 - $333000 (USD) + 25% bonus target + equity + benefits

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience in product management, hardware engineering, or infrastructure systems architecture.
  • 5 years of experience taking physical hardware products from concept to production and commercial deployment.
  • Experience defining and shipping server platforms, custom silicon, high-density racks, or data center networking hardware.
  • Experience managing commercial or technical partnerships with Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEMs), Original Design Manufacturer (ODMs) or component suppliers.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree in a technology or business related field.
  • 7 years of experience working cross-functionally with engineering, UX/UI, sales finance, and other stakeholders.
  • 7 years of experience in a business function or role (e.g., strategic marketing, business operations, consulting).
  • 5 years of experience in a role preparing and delivering technical presentations to senior leadership.
  • Own the multi-year hardware roadmap for on-premises AI Infra needs, covering custom accelerators, host server platforms, cluster interconnects, and rack-scale infrastructure.
  • Define system requirements and hardware architectures tailored for AI labs and Neoclouds.
  • Lead co-development and commercialization partnerships with global Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEMs), Original Design Manufacturer (ODMs), and system integrators to scale manufacturing, supply chain, and deployment outside Google data centers.
  • Drive execution across silicon, systems hardware, thermal, power, firmware, and OS engineering teams to deliver a fully integrated, product offering.
  • Build the business and financial model for hardware externalization, including Bill of Materials (BOM) structuring, pricing, margin targets, warranty, and global support.

  • 5 years of experience taking physical hardware products from concept to production and commercial deployment.
