Summary of Role:

We are seeking a motivated engineer to support

Ultra-pure

water

(UPW)

and

Wastewater

treatment

systems

at our semiconductor manufacturing site. The selected candidate will help maintain high-performing utility systems, support environmental and safety compliance, and contribute to projects that improve reliability, capacity, and operational efficiency across Fab 8.

Essential Responsibilities include:

  • Manage

    various

    UPWand

    wastewater

    treatmentsystems and monitor system performance to ensure reliable operation.
  • Ensure systems meet safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements while supporting maintenance, upgrades, and testing activities.

  • Work with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues, improve system performance, track system capacity, and recommend improvements when needed.

  • Support project planning, execution, commissioning, startup activities, and utility turn-on coordination for new equipment and systems.

Other Responsibilities:

  • Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs

Required Qualifications:

  • Education – Graduating with a

    Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering

    or related field from an accredited degree program. 
  • Must have at least an overall 3.0 GPA and proven good academic standing.

  • Language Fluency - English (Written & Verbal) 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Prior related internship or co-op experience

    .

  • Demonstrated prior leadership experience in the workplace, school projects, competitions, etc.

  • Strong interest in leveraging AI tools and emerging technologies to enhance productivity, streamline workflows, and support effective decision-making.

  • Project management skills, i.e. the ability to innovate and

    execute

    solutions that matter; the ability to navigate ambiguity. 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills 

  • Strong planning & organizational skills

  • Knowledge of

    UPW systems, Wastewater treatment systems

    ,

    process control

    , system operations

    monitoring systems

    is a plus.

  • Experience with data analysis, process improvement, technical documentation, or engineering project support.

Expected Salary Range

$58,400.00 - $100,800.00

The exact Salary will be determined based on qualifications, experience and location.
