The Role

The Accessories Assistant Launch & LPO Readiness Manager is responsible for leading accessory launch readiness activities for assigned vehicle programs, ensuring successful execution from pre-release through launch and ready-for-sale milestones. This role partners closely with cross-functional teams to drive program readiness, identify and mitigate risks, resolve issues, and ensure timely delivery of key launch objectives.

The successful candidate will serve as a central point of coordination across Product, Engineering, Marketing, Purchasing, Supply Chain, Supplier Quality, Sales, and Distribution teams to support flawless program launches and enhance the customer and dealer experience. This position requires strong project management, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence without direct authority and drive accountability across a complex organization.

What You'll Do

  • Lead launch readiness activities for assigned accessory programs from pre-release through launch, ensuring key milestones and deliverables are achieved on time.

  • Facilitate launch readiness reviews, monitor program health, identify risks, and drive issue resolution to support successful product launches.

  • Partner with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Marketing, Purchasing, Supplier Quality, Supply Chain, Sales, and Distribution to ensure alignment and execution of launch plans.

  • Drive dealer and Limited Production Option (LPO) readiness activities, ensuring products are launch-ready and available through dealer ordering systems.

  • Participate in Accessory Product Execution Team (APET) meetings and other program governance forums to provide launch readiness updates and recommendations.

  • Develop and maintain launch readiness metrics, dashboards, timelines, and reporting materials to communicate program status and support decision-making.

  • Present readiness status, risks, mitigation plans, and recommendations to cross-functional stakeholders and leadership teams.

  • Coordinate launch communications and product information with Accessory Distributor Installer (ADI) partners to support successful market introduction.

  • Utilize launch and product management systems to monitor part readiness, track deliverables, and ensure launch requirements are met.

  • Support initial order quantity planning and product availability discussions with distribution and supply chain partners.

  • Partner with Marketing teams to ensure launch assets, product content, and imagery are available to support successful product introductions.

Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications)  

  • 5+ Years of experience leading cross-functional projects, product launches, or business initiatives.

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage schedules, milestones, risks, dependencies, and issue resolution.

  • Strong project management, organizational, and execution skills.

  • Ability to influence stakeholders and drive outcomes without direct authority.

  • Experience preparing and delivering presentations to leadership audiences.

  • Proficiency with Google Workplace and project tracking or reporting systems.

What Can Give You a Competitive Advantage (Preferred Qualifications)  

  • Experience in automotive, accessories, product development, launch readiness, supply chain, manufacturing, or dealer operations.

  • Program or project management and product launch experience.

  • Familiarity with vehicle accessories, dealer ordering processes, and distribution networks.

  • Strong problem-solving, communication, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

  • Demonstrated business acumen, strategic thinking, and execution focus.

  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.

  • Learning-agile, adaptable, and committed to continuous improvement.
