Job Summary
Performs supply chain and logistics functions such as material procurement, production planning, inventory control, outsourcing, vendor selection and distribution | Creates integrated processes among internal functions (e.g., operations, purchasing and logistics) and outside suppliers | Responsibilities are within the Supply Chain and Logistics Function as a generalist or in a combination of Disciplines

Essential Functions
- Monitors and expedites the flow of goods, resources, and information required by the supply chain to ensure that critical processes run effectively and achieve organizational goals and performance KPIs.
- Coordinates with procurement, production, inventory control, distribution, transportation, and other functions to optimize the supply chain.
- Identifies bottlenecks or problem areas and escalates or proposes solutions.
- Works with suppliers to resolve issues.
- May assist in the negotiation of contracts or service arrangements.
- Required education and experience: Associate's Degree and 5-7 years' experience OR Equivalent Combination of Relevant Education &/or Experience
- Critical professional related technical skills; computer skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Preferred education and experience: Bachelor's Degree
- Discipline/Major: Business, Supply Chain Management or related discipline preferred
- Knowledge, skills & abilities: Contract Compliance. Data Analysis. Supply Chain Optimization. Supply Chain Planning. Compliance Monitoring. Supply Chain Planning Software. General Data Analysis Software
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position at a desk and/or computer for extended periods of time.
- Requires regular movement throughout GD-OTS facilities.
- Work primarily in a climate-controlled environment with minimal safety/health hazard potential.

Additions to essential functions: • Monitor suppliers to ensure compliance with schedules and product conformity. • Identify and enforce supplier priorities for product delivery and corrective actions.• Collaborate with suppliers to address schedule delays, contractual non-compliance, and develop recovery plans. • Serve as a liaison between suppliers and internal stakeholders (procurement, engineering, manufacturing) to provide updates, align requirements, and resolve issues effectively. • Conduct on-site supplier assessments to evaluate capacity, capability, and readiness for work statements. • Identify and recommend opportunities for process enhancements to improve operational efficiency and support procurement strategies. • Facilitate process improvements to boost supplier performance and delivery outcomes when needed.
