Job Description
Basic Qualifications
Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering, Technology or Mathematics field. Also requires 5+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 3 years of job-related experience. Must have experience with PCB and creating/updating schematics.
CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:: Department of Defense Secret security clearance is preferred at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.
Responsibilities for this Position
Key Responsibilities
Design and analyze analog and digital electronic circuits including signal conditioning, power distribution, and analog-to-digital conversion
Lead the design, analysis, and testing of underwater acoustic systems
Conduct obsolescence and End-of-Life (EOL) analysis on existing designs; lead component replacement and redesign implementation efforts
Perform integration, testing, troubleshooting, and verification of electrical hardware; identify and resolve complex technical issues
Lead component and architecture trade studies to determine optimal system solutions
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Experience with schematic editing and PCB layout changes with OrCAD (Cadence)
Working knowledge of digital and networking electronics
Experience with circuit simulation software (PSpice, LTspice, MATLAB, or similar)
Experience designing FPGA digital circuits and/or VHDL programming
Strong understanding of analog and digital circuit design principles with practical application experience
Ability to translate system requirements into circuit designs independently
Proven troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills for complex electronic circuits

Combined Salary Range
USD $124,216.00 - USD $137,803.00 /Yr.
