About Epirus
Epirus is a high-growth technology company dedicated to overcoming the asymmetric challenges inherent to the future of national security. Epirus' flagship product, Leonidas, is a software-defined system built using intelligent power management techniques which allow power-hungry systems to do more with less.
Position Summary
This is an exciting role in an innovative, high-growth defense technology company.
The ideal candidate for the position is someone who has experience with troubleshooting and sustaining automated test benches and special test equipment for high-performance production hardware as well as troubleshooting systems at various functional testing phases. This role will be a part of our manufacturing engineering team, but will serve as the connective tissue between hardware, electrical, and software—taking subsystems from individual validation through full system integration and verification. This individual will help define test strategies and procedure, build testing fixtures, ensure product quality through validation, and serve as the technical escalation point for production technicians during test execution. This is an on-site role.
Responsibilities:
Support final functional testing of fully integrated electro-mechanical assemblies to verify performance against engineering and customer specifications
Develop and document test procedures, work instructions, and test fixtures for new and existing products
Troubleshoot and resolve test failures, providing hands-on technical support to production technicians during testing operations
Analyze test data and failure trends to identify root causes and drive corrective actions
Collaborate with design, manufacturing, and quality engineering teams to address product or process issues identified during testing
Develop and execute test plans, test procedures, and acceptance criteria derived from system requirements
Develop and maintain test equipment, fixtures, and automated test systems; calibrate and maintain test instrumentation
Identify and implement process improvements to increase test efficiency, throughput, and reliability
Train technicians on new or revised test procedures and equipment
Participate in root cause / corrective action (RCCA) investigations for field or production failures
