Job Description
The Electro-Mechanical Technician Level 1 is responsible for the day-to-day troubleshooting and preventative/predictive maintenance. This worker acts as an entry-level material handling technician on all equipment that is installed at the Tracy, CA location. Swing shift 2:00pm-10:30pm Thursday Fridays off, Overtime and occasional weekend work may be required.

The base pay range for this role is estimated to be
$23.50
to $27:00an hour
at the time of posting. Final compensation will
be
determi

such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills.Tasks and Qualifications:
What you will do in this role
:
Repair and maintenance of
Material Handling Equipment (
MHE
)
including belt tracking,component
adjustment/replacement,
component
lubrication, etc.
Complete preventative maintenance routines, documentation, and
procedures.
Create and close work orders into
asset
management system withappropriate data
,
to include
labor hours, equipment maintenance, and partsused.
Troubleshoot basic conveyance problems and understand the resources to
resolve them.
Locate and track spare parts from inventory.
Respond to basic service calls and correct equipment failures and faults.
Identify
problems as they occur and takeappropriate steps
to solve them.
Develop and
maintain
positive working relationships across all levels of theorganizations
.
What We Are Looking For
High School
diploma or equivalent required.Typically,
vocational technicaltraining
preferred
.
Demonstrate
a basic
mechanical knowledge of a technical or specialty area.
Proven experience in
area
of responsibility and successful demonstration ofposition and key responsibilities as presented above.
Able to lift and move material up to 50 pounds each
Regular bending, lifting,
stretching,
and reaching both below the waist andabove the head
Occasionally push and pull wheeled dollies loaded with products up to 100
pounds
Have functional dexterity in both hands and wrists
Able to climb ladders and gangways safely and without limitation
Working conditions may include small spaces, dust, fumes/odors, hot/cold
temperatures, inside/outside noise, vibration, standing on concrete for long
hours and wet or uneven surfaces
Must be able to stand/walk for up to 10–12 hours
