Senior Supplier Quality Manager, Supplier Material Verification onsite Tucson – P5 – Kody Heroux

As a part of the Supplier Requirements and Services Team, this Supplier Quality Manager position is responsible for the management of quality systems and processes at Raytheon’s third party logistic (3PL) partner GXO. This position will act as the quality lead for supplier statement of work (SOWW) compliance as well as driving supplier corrective action report (SCAR) resolution.

This is an onsite position based in Marana, AZ at GXO (a Raytheon partner site). 

What You Will Do: 

Management of GXO’s supplier statement of work (SSOW)
Issue, track, and approve Supplier Corrective Action Reports
Support and coach the development and growth of the GXO team 
Daily collaboration and communication with cross-functional teams to maintain and meet organizational goals and objectives. These groups include technical support, manufacturing/test/design engineering, maintenance, production control, finance, and the program management office 
Ensures compliance of company policies and procedures 
Workforce planning and forecasting 
Develop/implement corrective action plans to support inspection escapes 
Issue, track, and approve Supplier Corrective Action Reports. 
Disposition of non-conforming material, purges, and material in quality hold. 
Assist in development and execution of training documentation. 
Identify and implement continuous improvement (CI) opportunities using Raytheon’s CI tool: CORE. 

Qualifications You Must Have:   

Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field and minimum 7 years’ experience 
Relevant experience is working in quality or a technical manufacturing environment  
Experience identifying root cause and implementing effective short-term and long-term corrective actions. 
Experience with commercial and/or aerospace/defense regulations and/or standards of a commercial equivalent with any of the following: AS9100, AS9102, ISO-9000, ISO-9001, AS9145. 
Experience working in a cross-functional team with representatives from Supply Chain, Operations, Program Quality and Manufacturing. 

Qualifications We Prefer: 

Current government secret clearance 
Experience working with SAP and / or PRISM (Raytheon Proprietary) to generate daily and weekly metrics. 
Strong management skills include the ability to make decisions with minimal supervision, goal setting, delegation, coaching, and motivating. 
Supervisory experience in the aerospace/defense industry 
Knowledge of Supplier Quality and receiving inspection 
Certification in Six Sigma, CORE, or American Society for Quality (ASQ) 
Knowledge of industry technical standards (such as ANSI, CMMI, ASTM, etc.) 
Experience with cables and wiring harnesses, electro-mechanical assemblies, machined components, and/or circuit card assemblies. 
GD&T Knowledge, understanding, and practical application. 
Practical knowledge of Root Cause Corrective Action processes 
Practical knowledge of First Article Inspection and AS9102 management 
Knowledge of General Statistical Process Control 
Experience building and maintaining relationships with customers or partners (both internal and external to Raytheon), including experience in an international / global setting 
Communication skills that exhibit presence and influence 
Self-managed technical contributor

Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years experience 

Engineering/Other Technical Positions: Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 10 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations.

The salary range for this role is 132,400 USD - 251,600 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
